Almost all of the restaurants are within walking distance, so walking out for a meal will give you further opportunity to take in the town’s beauty. There is also plenty of golf to be had here with local courses such as Campoamor, Las Ramblas, Las Colinas, Lo Romero and La Manga to name but a few. Each of them offers a very unique experience to play golf.
You can visit the nearby towns of Cartagena and Murcia and take a look at the historic buildings there. You can also choose to visit the Lake of La Mata known for its healing mud bath experience.
If you enjoy fresh, home grown local produce then don´t miss the Playa Flamenca Saturday street market. Or keep the kids entertained at Orihuela Costa Go Karts (right next door). In the summer months, you could take a trip to Aquopolis, Torrevieja´s very own water park, where you will find the best fun, from adrenaline-filled moments with amazing water attractions to relaxing moments in the Jacuzzi!
